Financial Dimension Templates
AX 2012 has a feature to define Financial dimension templates. Entering financial dimensions for a transaction can be tedious especially if number of financial dimensions are more than five and if it involves percentage distribution between different dimension values. To save time users can predefine dimension values with
percentages. Finance users have more control over financials. Business
users like AR Executive have to select the required template. This is useful for periodic transactions. Microsoft is aiming at improving productivity of users. Users should be trained to use these features in day to day tasks.
